In this article, I argue that our AI conversations — filled with ideas, solutions, and creativity — are valuable assets that shouldn’t be surrendered to Big Tech without control or ownership. To address this, I’ve set up a secure, personal Open WebUI instance that, for $1/month, offers users complete data sovereignty, access to a curated library of over 200 expert prompts, and the flexibility to connect preferred AI models using personal API keys.
